Music Ministry
The All Saints Music Ministry boasts a rich legacy of delivering exceptional music across various genres, enhancing our worship services.
There are several areas of the music ministry where you could be interested in getting involved. Which one could be the one for you?
Instrumentalists
We take delight in all forms of instrumental music. Currently, we are fortunate to have skilled musicians proficient in various instruments such as piano, guitar, flute, cello, horn, and percussion.
Our greatest need at the moment is for keyboard players.
If you're unsure about joining, we encourage you to start by playing just one or two songs during Mass. Take your time to acclimate and grow comfortable with the experience.
Cantors
Music singers who lead songs or perform in small groups play a vital role in our music ministry.
Cantors take the lead in the music during Mass, typically serving at least once every four to six weeks. Rehearsal schedules are flexible, accommodating individual experience and availability.
It is essential for the cantor to proclaim the Psalm during the liturgy.
We warmly welcome additional cantors to join the All Saints Music Ministry. Your participation would be a fantastic contribution to our musical community.
Adult Choir
Our adult choir follows the SATB choral format, which includes Soprano, Alto, Tenor, and Bass voices.
From September to May, the choir gathers every Wednesday from 6:30pm to 8:00pm for rehearsals.
With a current membership of 36 singers, we particularly welcome new voices in the tenor section.
Guided by the exceptional conductor, Dennis Hodge, this choir consistently delivers remarkable performances.
We wholeheartedly welcome new participants to engage in any of these musical expressions.
If you have a passion for music, we encourage you to explore the various ways you can get involved and contribute to our musical community.
Your musical interest and talents are valuable and can make a meaningful impact. Consider how you can actively participate and share your musical gifts with us.
