Sharing the Blessing

In the Gospel story of Jesus feeding the multitude, we witness the beauty of what happens when gifts are shared. A boy offers his five loaves and two fish, and through Jesus’ blessing, the small offering becomes a feast for thousands. It is a story of trust, generosity, and God’s power to multiply even the simplest gifts.

When the crowd responded to Jesus’ invitation, their collective sharing led to an overflow—twelve baskets of leftovers, more than enough for all. This moment reminds us that blessings, when shared, not only meet needs but create abundance.

As a faith community, we are called to embrace this spirit of sharing. Our stewardship is about more than maintaining our parish; it is about being a source of grace and hope for those around us. Together, we ensure that the blessings we receive extend beyond ourselves to meet the needs of our neighbors and prepare for the future.

This journey begins with a pledge—a response to God’s blessings in our lives. Through our collective generosity, we live out His call to be a light in the world, a community rooted in faith, and a sign of His love for all.

With school back in full swing, it's time for a crash course in School Fundraising 101.

We have two easy and affordable ways to support All Saints, one penny or dollar at a time. Let's work together to fill these buckets fast!

Hy-Vee Cash 4 Students

Last year, All Saints came in third among parochial schools in Cedar Rapids, Hiawatha, and Marion. Help us hit first place this year! It's simple: say "Yes" to printed receipts at Hy-Vee, Hy-Vee Fast & Fresh, Hy-Vee Gas, or Wahlburgers, and bring them to Mass. Drop them in the bin near the Parish office or at the back of the church.

Quick Tips for Hy-Vee Receipts:

• Check Expiration

Receipts must be from April 1, 2024, or later to count.

• Keep them intact

All printed information must be visible—no faded or clipped receipts.

Box Tops for Education

Box Tops are now digital! Use the app to scan your receipts from Fareway, Wal-Mart, Target, and Hy-Vee. The Box Tops logo on products indicates they qualify for the program.

If you’re tech-savvy, scan your receipts and then recycle them—unless they’re from Hy-Vee, which we still need!

Campbell's Soup labels are no longer valid for fundraising, so please recycle them.
